Xbox Game Pass has introduced Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition as part of its offerings for members. This marks the first addition to Microsoft's gaming service in May 2024 and the 59th new title added since the beginning of the year.

While the Tomb Raider series has maintained a high standard of quality, the original game is particularly notable for its outstanding reviews. The 2013 game boasts Metacritic scores ranging from 86 to 87 across different platforms and has garnered over 142,000 'Overwhelmingly Positive' user reviews on Steam.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Now Available on PC Game Pass

As of May 2, players can enjoy this critically acclaimed title on Xbox Game Pass, returning after its last appearance in January 2020. Unlike its previous console-exclusive availability, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is now accessible on PC Game Pass as well. It is expected to remain on Xbox Game Pass for at least a year, matching its previous run duration.

May 2024 Lineup for Xbox Game Pass

The Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition includes all DLC packs, offering bonus outfits, weapons, and multiplayer characters. Notably, the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer DLC, previously a pre-order bonus, is now included in the complete edition. This additional tomb is located in the Coastal Forest region within the game.

With the addition of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, players now have access to the full Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy. The trilogy's rollout began with Rise of the Tomb Raider in December 2023 and was completed with Shadow of the Tomb Raider in mid-April.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can anticipate five more titles in May 2024. The lineup includes Parabole's Kona 2: Brume on May 7, Little Kitty, Big City on May 9, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on May 14. Additionally, the upcoming second wave of monthly Xbox Game Pass additions is expected to feature Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and Hauntii, both previously confirmed as day-one releases.
