The recent update for WWE 2K24 primarily concentrated on tackling issues identified during the early access phase, which commenced on March 5 for purchasers of the digital deluxe editions. The fixes addressed various issues such as crashes in Community Creation, hair glitches with Chyna, and more. Moreover, the update brought enhancements to online War Games, Create-a-Superstar, Create-an-Arena, and additional features. However, post-update, numerous PC users encountered a vexing new problem.

Several Steam players reported encountering an error prompt when launching WWE 2K24WWE 2K24 to rectify this issue, though several users were impacted while the bug persisted on the morning of March 8.

Resolving the Steam Predicament in WWE 2K24

Users who lost their save data have not had it recovered, with one individual receiving confirmation from 2K support that the data is irretrievable. Nonetheless, some affected users mentioned retaining partial portions of their previous save data. On a positive note, this issue emerged early in WWE 2K24's lifecycle and did not erase extensive progress made over weeks or months. Looking ahead, WWE 2K24 has unveiled the complete roster of Superstars joining the game.
