Despite the extensive nature of the WWE 2K24 roster, certain wrestlers failed to secure a spot for various reasons.

One notable absence from the WWE 2K24 roster is CM Punk. While Punk made a sensational return to WWE at the previous year's Survivor Series, fans anticipated his inclusion in the game. Although Punk is not initially part of the WWE 2K24 roster, he is scheduled to be added post-launch as downloadable content. Among the significant names are Edge, now performing in AEW as Adam Copeland, and Sasha Banks, who recently debuted in AEW as Mercedes Mone. Additional wrestlers excluded from the roster are Top Dolla, Dana Brooke, Brie Bella, Eddy Thorpe, Emma, Jakara Jackson, James Drake, Lacey Evans, Mace, Mansoor, Matt Riddle, and Mustafa Ali.
