World of Warcraft has unveiled the Collector's Edition for The War Within, featuring a brand-new art book, a pin, and an exquisite gryphon rider statue. Released in honor of World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary, this premium physical edition is a must-have for any fan's collection.

Each expansion of WoW has introduced a physical Collector's Edition, and the same is true for The War Within. The pre-purchase option for this expansion opened alongside its announcement at BlizzCon in November 2023, building anticipation for the reveal of the collector's box over the past six months.

The moment has finally arrived. World of Warcraft recently showcased the contents of The War Within Collector's Edition during the alpha testing phase kick-off. In addition to the offerings of The War Within Epic Edition, buyers of this limited-edition box will enjoy The Art of The War Within artbook, a special pin featuring Alleria, Anduin, and Thrall, and a majestic golden gryphon rider statue. Fans can purchase the World of Warcraft: The War Within Collector's Edition on the Blizzard Gear store for $180.

For those with a digital code for The War Within, a Battle.net balance refund will cover the previous pre-purchase cost. Considering The War Within Epic Edition is priced at $90, the art book, pin, and statue effectively cost an additional $90.

The Epic Edition of The War Within also comes with a host of digital rewards. Whether purchased individually or as part of the Collector's Edition, fans receive a level 70 Character Boost, 1000 Trader's Tender, an Algarian Stormrider mount and matching transmog set, a pet, a toy, a cosmetic hearthstone, 30 days of game time, beta and early access to WoW: The War Within, and the Dragonflight expansion if not already owned.

The alpha phase for The War Within has officially launched. World of Warcraft plans to progressively test individual zones from The War Within each week, expanding participation with each build. While access to the alpha is not guaranteed, buyers of The War Within Collector's Edition secure a spot in the upcoming beta phase, expected to begin in the coming months.
