World of Warcraft has introduced the Earthen Allied Race in The War Within Alpha, showcasing their racial skills, Paladin mount, and Shaman totems. These new abilities are not only potent but also innovative and distinct in their design within World of Warcraft.

The Earthen, the latest Allied Race in World of Warcraft: The War Within, are large, stony dwarves accessible to both the Alliance and the Horde. They offer a wide array of unique character customizations, such as various beards, gemstone enhancements, and vivid skin tones.

In the most recent The War Within Alpha build, players can now experience the Earthen firsthand, allowing them to explore the character customizations, racial abilities, and race-specific class models. Aside from remarkable passive bonuses boosting their armor and gathering stats, Earthen gain extra experience through exploration. As creatures of stone, they do not consume traditional food but instead always benefit from the Well Fed buff, which they can tailor by consuming gems. Notably, their most intriguing racial skill is Azerite Surge – a unique Empowered ability in World of Warcraft outside of the usual Evokers or Plunderstorm abilities.

Unveiling Earthen Racial Abilities in WoW: The War Within

• Azerite Surge – Tap into your inner strength to unleash Azerite's power, dealing Fire damage. The Empowering effect includes: I: Inflicts (113.4% of Spell power) Fire damage, II: Heals allies for (100% of Spell power + 100% of Attack power), III: Deals an additional (113.4% of Spell power) Fire damage to the enemy with the highest health.
• Ingest Minerals – While always Well Fed and unable to consume food, you can activate Ingest Minerals to consume a gem, altering the Well Fed benefit. Amber grants Stamina, Emerald provides Haste, Onyx offers Mastery, Ruby enhances Critical Strike, and Sapphire boosts Versatility.
• Hyper Productive – Boosts Finesse by 2%, increasing the chance of gathering extra materials.
• Titan-Wrought Frame – Enhances base armor from equipped items by 10%.
• Wide-Eyed Wonder – Gain 100% additional exploration experience when you explore a new location.

Although players can now view up to four characters on one screen using World of Warcraft's Warbands system, the Earthen still have a unique character selection backdrop set in Khaz'Algar. This race can opt for Paladin and Shaman as their classes, providing them with exclusive totems and a charger mount. The Harronir, rumored to inhabit the Azj-Kahet zone, bear a resemblance to a fusion of Night Elves and Trolls, featuring porcupine-like quills.
