How to Complete The Dragon Stirs Warzone Easter Egg in Fortune's Keep
Completing the Dragon Stirs quest in Fortune's Keep is no easy feat. Players must activate the beacon light of the Lighthouse and redirect it through three different locations using mystery items to unlock the Easter egg.
However, this endeavor is fraught with peril. The locations are often teeming with enemies, either attempting the Easter egg themselves or thwarting others' efforts. Moreover, the mystery items can only be obtained once. Should an enemy player acquire an item first, players must eliminate them to claim it, or try again in a subsequent match.
To add to the challenge, if the circle closes in on any of the required locations, the Dragon Stirs quest becomes disabled in Warzone.
The silver lining is the reward awaiting those who persevere. Unlike items from the Warzone Season 2 battle pass, the Dragon Stirs quest offers a unique payoff. Here's what needs to be done.
Step 1: Use a Gas Can to Refuel the Generator in the Lighthouse
Commence by descending to the Lighthouse (G6) on the southwestern edge of Fortune's Keep and securing a Gas Can. These red canisters spawn randomly in various locations around the Lighthouse, with the pier and southern shoreline being reliable spots to check.
Once equipped with a Gas Can, ascend to the top of the Lighthouse using an exterior line near a stack of crates to expedite the journey. Inside, interact with the blue generator in the corner. If in possession of a Gas Can, the generator will be refueled, causing the Lighthouse beacon to rotate in Warzone.
Step 2: Align the Beacon Light with the First Bird's Nest
The subsequent task entails halting the beacon light when it aligns northwest, toward the tall radio antenna tower. Utilize the large control panel near the generator to lock the beacon at approximately the 284 mark, as depicted in the image below.
This action positions the lighthouse to illuminate a small Bird's Nest adjacent to the tall radio tower. As the Bird's Nest is not visible from the current vantage point, refer to the coordinates on the HUD for assistance.
An incorrect positioning will prompt the beacon light to reset and return to its original orientation. Successful alignment renders the control panel unusable for the remainder of the match.
Step 3: Place the Lenses on the Bird's Nests
The final step involves locating and affixing three Lenses to three Bird's Nests to complete the Dragon Stirs Easter egg in Warzone. Visit each numbered location on the map to find a sightseeing binocular. Strike it to release a Lens, then interact with the adjacent Bird's Nest.
For added convenience, the coordinates of all three binoculars/lenses and nests are provided. It is crucial to note that each Lens must be placed on the nearest Bird's Nest; hoarding all three before placement is not permitted. However, the order of completing the Bird's Nests is flexible. For instance, the second Lens can be placed before attending to the first Bird's Nest as part of the Easter egg. Upon placing all three Lenses, the lighthouse's light will traverse the locations, culminating in a pattern.
This marks the successful completion of the Dragon Stirs Easter egg for Fortune's Keep in Warzone. Fireworks will illuminate the Keep, and all players on the server will be notified of your team's accomplishment as the "Wakers of the Dragon".
