This is among the finest commonly found one-handed ranged weapons in the game. Initially wielded by Jae upon recruitment, it serves as an effective sidearm for companions in the early chapters, boasting significant damage output for a pistol.

The Shuriken Pistol features two attacks: the Pistol Shot (1 AP) and the Pistol Burst (2 AP). For companions other than Jae to wield this weapon, they must possess the Aeldari Weapon Proficiency skill. Later in the game, an enhanced version of this weapon becomes available.

2 Kabalite Splinter Pistol

The Kabalite Splinter Pistol is commonly found in the late game, particularly during the Commorragh section, and offers lower damage compared to many other weapons obtainable in this phase. However, the pistol compensates for this with its two toxic attacks, Toxic Needle (1 AP) and Toxic Burst (2 AP), and a high ammo capacity of 15.

This pistol is most effective against enemies over time, leveraging its toxic attacks for maximum impact. It serves as a suitable sidearm for melee-oriented companions but necessitates Drukhari Weapon Proficiency for use.

3 Foehammer

One of the premier sidearms in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader is the Stub Pistol. A top-tier iteration of this weapon available early in the game is the Foehammer. Boasting superior damage output compared to a standard Stub Pistol, Foehammer stands as an excellent early-game option for equipping.

The weapon features only a single form of attack (1 AP) that can be highly effective, functioning akin to a shotgun and capable of knocking down enemies.
