Tricks of Kenzera: Zau introduces players to Surgent Studios' first Metroidvania adventure. While striving to craft a narrative that stands out in the genre, the game pays homage to the Ori series, evident in its diverse abilities. Throughout your journey, you will come across six unique abilities known as Hadithi Abilities.

Each ability is tied to a Shaman Shrine and offers distinct advantages in combat and exploration. While indispensable for game completion, players may face temporary roadblocks when seeking these powers. This guide provides comprehensive insights into locating and acquiring these crucial abilities.

Unveiling Bamba's Stone Ability

Your quest for powers begins with Bamba's Stone, the initial Hadithi ability in Tales of Kenzera: Zau. Discovered within the Buluu Caverns in Act 1, players must journey to the lower-left section of the area, marked on the in-game map. Interacting with the shrine bestows upon you this freezing ability.

Bamba's Stone can only be activated when wearing the Moon Mask, enabling you to freeze enemies and traverse icy terrain by solidifying running water.

Obtaining Akida's Spear Ability

Following Bamba's Stone, Akida's Spear awaits in Ikakaramba post The Great Cliffs. Guided by the storyline, players will locate the shrine typically positioned in the upper right part of the region. Equip the Sun Mask to unleash fiery spear attacks effective against shielded foes and for unlocking specific pathways.

Acquiring Zawadi's Hook Ability

Patience leads to Zawadi's Hook, the third ability available in Act 2. Head to Nature's Crown in the far left corner, following Sabulana's quest direction. This traversal-focused ability, compatible with both Sun and Moon masks, enables swinging across areas using purple hook points suspended in the air.

Discovering Tawa's Heart Ability

During a chase sequence with the second boss, Kikiyaon, players encounter Tawa's Heart Ability. Located directly ahead, the Shaman Shrine appears before a platforming section, triggering the boss encounter. The ability, mask-dependent, transforms structures or destroys doors based on the equipped mask.

Unleashing Kabili's Wings Ability

In Act 3, Kabili's Wings become accessible in the Searing Sands region's far right area. While pursuing the "Follow the Fireflies" quest, a hidden shrine awaits past a giant skull. This ability aids in gliding across long distances and rising in updraft areas.

Harnessing Tshukudu's Might Ability

The ultimate ability, Tshukudu's Might, found in Mount Itshoka, enhances combat and platforming prowess. Progressing through the story naturally guides players to the final shrine. This power significantly boosts your dash move, demolishing obstacles, inflicting heavy damage, and manipulating enemies during combat.
