Embark Studios introduces update 2.2.0 for The Finals, unveiling a new twist on the Power Shift mode with Bunny Bash, weapon adjustments, and a slew of bug fixes. Since the major Season 2 overhaul, Embark has been diligently rolling out updates almost every week for this online shooter.

Embracing the free-to-play model with optional in-game purchases, The Finals has made the most of various holidays since its launch at The Game Awards last December. From winter-themed maps to Valentine's Day challenges, players have been treated to seasonal content. Now, with Easter around the corner, a fresh holiday event awaits.

The highlight of the 2.2.0 update is the Bunny Bash event, bringing Easter festivities to The Finals. The SYS$HORIZON map has been transformed with Easter eggs and vibrant foliage, offering a unique version of Power Shift alongside new contracts for exclusive rewards like Easter-themed outfits and weapon skins.

In response to community feedback, Bank It remains a fixture in the game, while Cashout joins casual modes, replacing unranked tournaments for now. PC players can expect an improved connection experience with the upcoming integration of Embark ID for display names.

The update also addresses numerous bugs across the game, enhances XP gains for Daily Quests, and fine-tunes various weapons. Notably, the KS23 Shotgun sees significant changes, including altered fire rate and damage values. Other weapons like FCAR, FAMAS, and 93R also receive adjustments in this patch.
