The Finals introduces update 1.10, bringing a host of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and exciting new content such as the Smoking Guns limited-time mode and a community challenge. Since its launch at The Game Awards in December, The Finals has been consistently evolving with updates aimed at balancing abilities, addressing major issues, and enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Embark Studios unveiled the Solo Bank It limited-time mode in January, followed by unique additions like Steal the Spotlight and Valentine's Day-inspired challenges. However, not all events have been well-received, with the removal of the Dead Go Boom event due to player frustrations. The latest update brings a fresh in-game event, offering players new rewards and challenges.
The highlight of Update 1.10 is the Smoking Guns event, transforming the Monaco map into an Old West setting for a Single Round Tournament. Players compete to be the first to bank the most money, complete contracts, and earn rewards like the High Noon Noir outfit. Additionally, a community event challenges players to cash out $250 billion within seven days for a mystery reward and a chance to win a t-shirt.
Alongside new content, players will benefit from fixes and improvements across UI, performance, and various gameplay features. With declining player numbers since its initial launch, The Finals aims to engage both existing and lapsed players with fresh content and limited-time game modes, including the latest community challenge.
