Stellar Blade introduces a unique combat mechanic centered around Eve's versatile one-handed sword and the powerful Beta Skills she can unleash. Initially, Adam's drone serves as a guide, but everything changes when Lily enters the picture.

By upgrading the Drone, it transforms into a potent gun offering Eve a range of firing options. Players must manage different ammo types, restocking and upgrading the gun to access varied firing modes.

Unlocking the Drone Weapon in Stellar Blade

The gun is a pivotal part of the main storyline, ensuring players don't miss out on this essential tool. As Eve and Adam track down the Alpha Naytiba and defeat it, Lily joins the team, leading them to the city of Xion.

Upon reaching Xion, meeting the Orcal, and energizing the city, players can retrieve the enhanced drone from Lily near the safe house, now equipped as a gun.

Using & Upgrading the Gun in Stellar Blade

Activating the gun involves holding down L2 to attach the drone to Eve's arm swiftly. Pressing R2 fires the selected ammo type indicated by the reticle. The ammo count for the chosen type is displayed at the screen's bottom left, with the D-Pad opening the ammo wheel.

Initially firing slugs, players can enhance the gun by using a Repair Console and Drone Upgrade Modules, offering a variety of ammo types for customization and power-ups.

Obtaining Ammo for the Gun in Stellar Blade

Various ammo types are available in Stellar Blade, requiring replenishment after use. Players can buy ammo from vending machines using Gold at camps or discover them sporadically as drops. Story-driven locations may feature ammo resupply stations, albeit infrequently.

With limited carrying capacity for each ammo type, it's advisable to fully restock during camp breaks due to the affordable cost per bullet.
