Mastering Multiplayer in South Park: Snow Day!

To engage in multiplayer mode, start by visiting the Kupa Keep base camp, the central hub where you can gear up, upgrade equipment, and allocate Dark Matter for Perks before embarking on a game chapter. Once at Kupa Keep, proceed to the War Table and interact with it.

This action opens the Chapter selection screen. Click on the matchmaking button at the bottom right corner to proceed.

Within the matchmaking menu, you can choose from three options - Host Game, Join Game, or Friends List. Hosting a game allows you to create a lobby, select game modes and chapters, decide on public or friends-only access, and wait for players to join your squad.

Opting to Join a Game enables you to search for games hosted by friends or other players based on various criteria like chapter selection and difficulty levels. The Friends List option integrates with Steam (for PC) or console friends list, simplifying direct invites to your friends.

Understanding Crossplay Compatibility

Regrettably, South Park: Snow Day! does not offer crossplay functionality upon release, with no immediate plans for its implementation. Similarly, local co-op is not supported, necessitating online multiplayer for group play, all on the same platform. To join forces with friends, each player must own and install the game on their respective system.
