The critically acclaimed indie game 'Sea of Stars' has surprised its fanbase by announcing a physical release set for spring 2024, five months after its initial digital launch.
Developed by Sabotage Studio, known for the action platformer 'The Messenger,' 'Sea of Stars' won the Best Indie Game title at The Game Awards 2023 and the Golden Joystick Awards. The studio's shift to turn-based RPGs has been a success, leading to the decision to release a boxed version of the game.
The physical release will be handled by iam8bit, available for Nintendo Switch, and the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles from May 10. Additionally, an iam8bit Exclusive Edition is open for pre-orders, offering exclusive content.
