Rocket League has revealed an exciting new collaboration with the popular Marvel series X-Men '97. This crossover brings a range of exclusive in-game items themed around the beloved mutant team. Known for its diverse range of crossover content, Rocket League allows players to personalize their vehicles with unique designs inspired by various pop culture icons.
Recently, the animated series X-Men '97 made a triumphant return on Disney+, continuing the adventures of fan-favorite characters like Cyclops, Wolverine, and Professor X. Building on the success of the show, Rocket League is now incorporating the X-Men universe into its gameplay.
Confirmed by ComicBook, the collaboration between Psyonix, the developer of Rocket League, and Epic Games will introduce a host of new X-Men '97 themed cosmetics. These will include exclusive decals, toppers, and other accessories inspired by iconic X-Men characters and their adversaries. Players can access some items for free by completing in-game challenges, while premium selections will be available for purchase in the Rocket League store. The X-Men '97 crossover event is scheduled to launch on April 23.
