Over the past few years, Sony has been enriching the PlayStation Plus Premium collection with classic PSP games, and Resistance: Retribution stands out as one of the most prominent handheld games on offer.

Originally launched in 2009, Resistance: Retribution was crafted by Bend Studio as a spin-off from Insomniac's Resistance FPS series. Unlike the main series' first-person shooter format, Resistance: Retribution takes on a third-person shooter style, presenting a unique gameplay experience compared to its console-based counterparts.

On February 20, 2024, Resistance: Retribution joined PS Plus Premium with complete trophy support and an array of enhancements, providing players with an enhanced gaming journey.
