Investigating Sparkle Gem Locations

Here are the locations of the seven Sparkle Gems in The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot play in Princess Peach: Showtime:

Sparkle Gem 1

Players eventually encounter an apartment building entrance with three doors; to acquire the first Sparkle Gem, they must identify the bandits' hideout. Interacting with Theets on the streets provides clues about the apartment owners.

By deducing that one Theet lives in an apartment with a flower relief and another resides with their sibling in the far-right apartment, players can conclude that the bandits' hideout is the middle apartment adorned with a leaf relief. Using Strike of Intuition on the door confirms this deduction and rewards the Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 2

Before entering the apartment, players should explore the far-right corner of the stage; they can stand on top of the sewer manhole to access a hidden area. Inside, utilizing Strike of Intuition helps retrieve the Sparkle Gem from the large wooden box.

Sparkle Gem 3

To obtain the third Sparkle Gem, use Strike of Intuition on the model of the city's clock tower to unveil the bandits' plan to destroy it.

Sparkle Gem 4

Prior to entering the clock tower, climb atop the stack of wooden boxes to claim the fourth Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 5

After obtaining the elevator key, players ascend to the top floor. While the officer and Junior Detective head right, players must go left to the floor below to acquire the next Sparkle Gem.

A member of the Sour Bunch lurks behind a pipe on this floor. By using Strike of Intuition behind the pipe to alert the officer to the bandit's location and facilitate the arrest, players receive a Sparkle Gem from the grateful Theet.

Sparkle Gem 6

Progressing to the next area entails locating scattered gear parts within the clock tower.

The three gear parts are concealed as follows: behind the wall pipes on the left, on the large golden gear, and inside the box with a handprint on the table. Assembling these parts activates the elevator, allowing Peach to reach the floor above.

By employing Strike of Intuition on the bandit behind the large gear on the left wall, players secure the Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 7

Progressing to the subsequent area involves relocating the wall gear to the right slot, revealing a duct leading outside where an elevator key is located.

Upon reaching the clock tower's peak, players must use Strike of Intuition on the bell to uncover the bomb's location and secure the final Sparkle Gem.

Additional Discoveries

Explore where to find the Ribboner and the Hide and Seek Theets in The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot play in Princess Peach: Showtime:

Ribboner Location

To locate the Ribboner in The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot, players should continue moving right after trailing the Sour Bunch bandit for the first time. At the far end of the stage lies an art exhibit where players can earn a ribbon by identifying the genuine Mira Culous painting.

The painting on the left, titled An Exception Detective by Mira Culous, can be verified using Strike of Intuition. The art dealer rewards the Ribboner with the painting, who then offers players the Detective Ribbon for Stella to adorn.

Hide and Seek Theet Locations

This play features three Ninja Theets, situated as follows:

  • By the lamp post near the Sour Bunch bandit's abandoned paper
  • Adjacent to the museum model within the bandits' hideout
  • Next to the clock's minute hand key outside the clock tower
