The World of Wonders: Taken Over event in Pokemon GO brings a myriad of changes, including the return of Shadow Mewtwo and Shadow Groudon. Team GO Rocket and its leaders are also introducing new Shadow Pokemon, alongside the exciting debut of shiny variants of Sandile and its evolutions.

Obtaining Shiny Sandile

Sandile is a unique Ground and Dark type Pokemon, with strengths and weaknesses against various types. Its stats include 1172 CP, 132 ATK, 69 DEF, and 137 STA. Here's how to catch its shiny form.

Shiny Sandile Through 12km Eggs

Sandile's shiny version is extremely rare and can only be found in 12km eggs, making it one of the scarcest Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Players have a mere 0.20% chance of hatching a Shiny Sandile from an egg. To increase your chances, focus on collecting and hatching as many 12km eggs as possible, which are obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts.

While the odds are not boosted during this event, hatching multiple eggs significantly improves the likelihood of obtaining a shiny Sandile. With around 100 eggs, players have an almost 18% chance of hatching a shiny version. Using Super Incubators can help reduce hatch distances, speeding up the process.

Obtaining Shiny Krokorok & Krookodile

After acquiring a shiny Sandile, evolving it into Krokorok and then Krookodile is the next step. However, this process is challenging as it requires a total of 125 candies. Evolving Sandile into Krokorok costs 25 candies, while evolving Krokorok into Krookodile demands a hefty 100 candies.
