Nearly eight years post its initial launch on iOS and Android platforms, Pokemon GO still receives regular updates and maintains a dedicated fan base eager to partake in new limited-time events. Niantic consistently adds fresh elements, events, and Pokemon to ensure players remain engrossed in the mobile gaming experience. Dive into the Rediscover Kanto Pokemon GO Event

The Rediscover Kanto event is ongoing until May 9 at 8 PM PDT and includes Special Research alongside event-themed Field Research tasks. Trainers who complete the Special Research can earn experience points, Stardust, exclusive items, and event-themed Pokemon. The Field Research tasks provide Mega Energy for Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. The event showcases a variety of biomes and exclusive Pokemon, featuring special moves upon evolving Ivysaur, Charmeleon, and Wartortle. Furthermore, the Rediscover Kanto event grants all trainers enhanced XP for seven-day PokeStop spins and catch streaks, increased friendship levels, and improved chances of encountering Shiny Bulbasaur, Shiny Charmander, and Shiny Squirtle in their respective biomes.

In addition to the Rediscover Kanto event, Pokemon GO has introduced its Sustainability Week event for 2024. Trainers now have augmented opportunities to capture Shiny Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle during this temporary event, which concludes on April 26 at 8 PM local time.
