Introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield as part of the 8th generation, Applin stands out with its apple-like appearance, two beady eyes, and a rare triple evolution line. By using specific items like the Tart Apple, Sweet Apple, or Syrupy Apple, players can evolve Applin into Flapple, Appletun, or Dipplin respectively, each leading to different forms.

One such enthusiast, known as Pasta_Rakker, took it upon themselves to reimagine Applin as a dragon fruit through an Alolan regional variant named Pitaja. This new rendition of the Grass-type creature resembles a vibrant pink dragon fruit with a green visage and small eyes.
