Darren Jason Watkins Jr., widely known as IShowSpeed, found himself facing a ban on his PlayStation account. This development sparked an intense emotional reaction from the streamer during a recent broadcast, adding to the array of IShowSpeed's livestream experiences.

IShowSpeed gained popularity in 2021 through his lively variety streams, characterized by animated reactions to on-screen events. Despite being just 17 years old, he became the most watched YouTube streamer in 2022. His online presence continues to surge, evident from his YouTube channel amassing over 22.5 million subscribers as of early 2024, marking a 12.5% increase in the past five months.

In a livestream in mid-January, IShowSpeed received an email informing him of the temporary suspension of his PlayStation account. The ban resulted from inappropriate conduct in the PlayStation exclusive LittleBigPlanet. Notably, this incident differed from previous account suspensions as it was not the streamer's doing. During the January 16 livestream, IShowSpeed expressed his unfamiliarity with LittleBigPlanet, as evidenced in a clip from the now-deleted broadcast shared by Twitter user IShowSpeedHQ.

IShowSpeed's Brother's Role in the LittleBigPlanet-Related PlayStation Account Ban

After researching the game, the 18-year-old concluded that his half-brother Dian was accountable for the ban. Following a visibly agitated reaction on camera, IShowSpeed confronted his younger sibling regarding the incident. Dian promptly admitted to causing the suspension, confessing to uploading a custom sticker that led to the ban.

IShowSpeed was perplexed about why his brother utilized his PlayStation account to play LittleBigPlanet instead of using his own profile. However, Dian revealed that he lacked another account to play on. He urged IShowSpeed not to be concerned, emphasizing the temporary nature of the ban. This only served to further agitate the streamer, who vehemently expressed his frustration about his account being tampered with. By the time IShowSpeed realized he was suspended, PlayStation had already lifted the ban.

Sharing PSN passwords violates the PlayStation Terms of Service. Sony's support pages emphasize that doing so jeopardizes account security and advise users against disclosing their login details to anyone.
