Upon completing your first Full Moon Operation on 5/9 in Persona 3 Reload, you'll gain access to Requests from Elizabeth starting 5/10. While these missions are optional, the rewards they offer are valuable, often leading to unlocking more quests or providing unique items. One of the initial Requests you'll encounter is 'Request 7: Bring me a Juzumaru.'

Aside from being a quest item, Juzumaru serves as a weapon tailored for Junpei Iori. Especially useful at the start of your Persona 3 Reload journey, it can later be replaced with more potent gear as you progress through the game.

Locating Juzumaru in Tartarus

To acquire Juzumaru, you must unlock a chest on Floor 36 (Arqa Block) within Tartarus by obtaining three Twilight Fragments. On this floor, you'll encounter the Disturbing Dice and two Slaughter Twins. Employ Electric-based attacks against the Slaughter Twins, as they are vulnerable to Electricity. The Disturbing Dice, on the other hand, is resistant to Fire but susceptible to physical attacks, particularly critical hits. After defeating the enemies, you'll find two locked chests, one of which holds Juzumaru requiring three Twilight Fragments to open.

Utilizing Juzumaru

Completing Request 7 with Juzumaru

Once you've fulfilled Request 2 (retrieve the first document), you'll gain access to Request 7. To complete this task, deliver the Juzumaru to Elizabeth, obtained from the chest on Floor 36. In return, you'll be rewarded with a Makouha Skill Card, which can be used to teach powerful Skills to your Personas, such as the Makouha skill that inflicts light damage on all foes.

Is Juzumaru a Worthy Weapon?

Juzumaru, a sword melee weapon exclusive to Junpei, possesses unique characteristics. While stronger weapons become available as you progress through P3R, Juzumaru remains valuable, especially for charging the Theurgy gauge. Due to its low critical hit rate but significant impact on Junpei's Theurgy gauge, it's advisable to retain Juzumaru until acquiring accessories like Apt Pupil to enhance critical hit chances.
