While many of the initial Social Links in Persona 3 Reload are straightforward to start, some require additional steps. This is especially true for Social Links that become available later in the game, like Maiko's.

Maiko Oohashi is a young girl often found near the Shrine in Persona 3 Reload. When first encountered, Maiko is hungry and requests players to get her some food. After providing the food, she then asks for a drink. Once both are fulfilled, she invites the Protagonist to hang out sometime, allowing the player to initiate her Social Link the next time she's around.

How to Unlock Maiko's Social Link

On 5/6, players will overhear some students discussing Maiko and her location at the Shrine. Heading to the Shrine and visiting the playground on the left side will lead to finding Maiko. Unlike previous Social Links, Maiko won't be immediately available to hang out. She will question the player's character before expressing her hunger. She desires a specific food described as Hot, Round, and Soft.

Despite the vague description, the solution lies at the Iwatodai Station Strip Mall.
