Xbox Game Pass is introducing four new games to its lineup, featuring a day-one launch title and three fresh additions for Core members. Xbox Game Pass Core, which replaced Xbox Live Gold in September 2023, offers a rotating selection of over 25 games, providing members with a variety of gaming experiences throughout the year.

PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also benefit from accessing several titles on their launch day. The upcoming day-one addition to Game Pass on May 9 is Little Kitty, Big City, an open-world adventure starring a lost black cat navigating the urban landscape. On August 8, subscribers can look forward to playing SteamWorld Heist 2, a turn-based adventure where Captain Leeway and his crew embark on a quest to unravel the mystery behind water turning deadly.

However, before these releases, Xbox Game Pass users can delve into Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on April 23, its launch day. Directed and produced by Yoshitaka Murayama, the creator of Suikoden, this role-playing game has garnered positive reviews, achieving a 'Strong' rating on OpenCritic and 'Generally Favorable' on Metacritic. This spiritual successor to Suikoden began as a Kickstarter project and is praised for its grand adventure and extensive cast reminiscent of classic JRPGs.

Xbox Game Pass End of April 2024

On April 23, Xbox Game Pass Core is expanding its library with three titles: Deep Rock Galactic, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Wreckfest. While these games have been part of the catalog before, Wreckfest returns after being removed in May 2022, delighting fans of the subscription service.

One of the unique aspects of Xbox Game Pass is the regular rotation of games, where new titles replace older ones. On April 30, the quirky Soulslike game Another Crab’s Treasure will debut alongside Have a Nice Death. However, the service will also bid farewell to six titles on the same day, including Ravenlok and 7 Days to Die.
