Rollin' Rascal, an indie platformer game inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros., has successfully met its Kickstarter funding goal for a Nintendo Switch version. The game, which launched its campaign in early February along with a demo level on Steam, showcases high-speed gameplay akin to Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations, infused with elements from 3D Super Mario Bros. adventures.

Enthusiastic feedback poured in from players who tested the demo, lauding Rollin' Rascal for its speed-oriented challenges reminiscent of 3D Sonic the Hedgehog games. Familiar moves such as Sonic's homing dash and spin attack, along with a unique twist, captured players' attention. Surpassing its $50K funding goal within 12 hours of launch, Rollin' Rascal recently achieved a major stretch goal.

On the Kickstarter page, developers jubilantly announced crossing the $100K mark. This milestone ensures Rollin' Rascal will debut on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Backers pledging digitally will receive redemption codes for Steam or the Nintendo eShop.
