Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has introduced its latest event named Vortex: Vi.Rus Mainframe, presenting the striking Binary Mortality camo as the ultimate prize. Gamers have the opportunity to acquire this camo until the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 event concludes on May 8.

It has been an exciting time for Call of Duty enthusiasts, with the franchise unveiling details about its Season 3 Reloaded update set to deliver fresh content to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile on May 1. This content includes new maps and modes for MW3's Multiplayer, missions and schematics for MW3's Zombies, a killstreak for Warzone, the Golden Week for Warzone Mobile, and much more. Fans eagerly anticipating the significant update can immerse themselves in MW3's latest event in the interim.

As is customary, Modern Warfare 3's Vi.Rus Mainframe event demands players to amass a substantial amount of XP to unlock its final reward, precisely 548,500 XP. This coveted reward is the Binary Mortality animated camo, featuring dynamic red, yellow, and black streaks that continuously flow towards the top of the player's weapon. Along the progression path to this reward, players will unlock 11 additional items, including two XP tokens, a battle pass tier skip, two calling cards, one emblem, one charm, two stickers, and two decals. Those seeking to expedite their event completion can opt to purchase the new Horsemen Vi.Rus Ultra Skin Tracer Pack for 2,400 CoD Points, which includes the Bacillus skin allowing for bonus XP accumulation during the event. Call of Duty has also reintroduced the Vortex Mosh Pit playlist alongside the event, with XP earned in any playlist contributing towards the event rewards.

All Rewards In Modern Warfare 3's Vi.Rus Mainframe Event

  • Loadout weapon sticker
  • Point and Click decal
  • Pop-Up, Pop-Off emblem
  • Going Viral decal
  • Got Hacked calling card
  • Block Fly charm
  • Sneakin' In sticker
  • Error Code calling card
  • Double weapon XP token, double battle pass XP token, and battle pass tier skip
  • Binary Mortality animated camo

The reveal of the Binary Mortality camo sparked immediate excitement, as not every Modern Warfare 3 event showcases such a visually striking final reward. Call of Duty recently introduced another eye-catching item, a dinosaur skin that is quite unconventional, albeit not available for free acquisition.

Although the Binary Mortality camo is impressive, it faces tough competition from a newly released Call of Duty Mobile weapon skin that sets a new standard for paid cosmetics in the franchise. Upon inspecting the CoD Mobile skin, an action-packed scene unfolds on the weapon's surface reminiscent of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Following the conclusion of the Vi.Rus Mainframe event on May 8, Call of Duty will kick off the U Assist Veterans Challenge event, continuing its tradition of supporting veterans. While details about the event remain scarce, more information is slated to be disclosed on May 6.
