Discover the world of Stowaways in Another Crab’s Treasure, unique trinkets that provide passive bonuses to Kril. Unlike Adaptations, Stowaways offer passive effects that can influence combat dynamics by enhancing Kril's base stats like Attack or Resistance, coupled with additional passive modifiers.

Customizing Stowaways involves strategic planning due to their varying capacity requirements, indicated by their base star number when equipped. Players aiming to mix and match Stowaways to enhance their build will encounter capacity constraints. Here's how to expand your Stowaway capacity.

Boosting Stowaway Capacity in Another Crab’s Treasure

To amplify Stowaway capacity, players should head to Nemma's shop, the Bottomfeeders, located in the lower area of New Carcinia. Accessible after defeating Magista, Tyrant of Slacktide, in the main storyline, New Carcinia guides Kril to four potential shops where his original shell could have been sold. Among these, the Bottomfeeders, opposite the Blacksmith, stands out.

By exchanging Microplastics at Nemma's shop, players can elevate their Stowaway capacity incrementally. Each payment raises the capacity by 1 unit. Initially set at 3, increasing it to 4 requires 2500 Microplastics; advancing from 4 to 5 costs 5000; escalating to 6 demands 10000, and so forth.

After exploring all four shops in pursuit of Kril's home shell, a pivotal story event unfolds, prompting Nemma to entrust the Bottomfeeders to two smaller crabs, Polli and Sessi. Subsequently, players should engage with Polli to expand their Stowaway capacity.

Managing Stowaways in Another Crab’s Treasure

As players enhance their capacity and acquire superior Stowaways, earlier ones like Sea Star and Limpet lose relevance, primarily suitable for initial gameplay phases. Rather than retaining them in Kril's inventory, players can opt to vend these Stowaways to Nemma (or Sessi post-Nemma's departure) and obtain Microplastics in return. Nemma and Sessi also offer a selection of rare Stowaways for purchase.
