Area 1

Upon commencing the level, players encounter menacing fire-breathing Piranha Plants above. To ascend without becoming a crispy critter, execute a Wire Jump by pushing the analog stick upwards and pressing Jump as Mario spins rapidly. Reach the top, grab the rope, and swing across using the Monchee's tail.

Acquiring the Red Present

Spot another Monchees traversing back and forth. Trigger the blue switch when the toy monkey steps on the red blocks, causing it to plummet, granting access to the key and gift. Descend the rope, avoid fireballs, grasp the Monchees tail, and secure the red Present while crossing.

Obtaining the Key

Cross over, leap on the RamRam to snatch it, hurl the enemy onto the spike, retrieve the key, utilize RamRam as a platform, and proceed to unlock the door, progressing to the next segment.

Area 2

Climbing the initial set of ropes is safe since the Piranha Plants face right. Activate Free-Scroll Mode to survey the area layout.

Obtaining the Blue Present

Ascend, activate the blue switch, descend the right rope, and land on the blue platform to retrieve the gift.

Acquiring the Yellow Present

Climb to the platform above the first Piranha Plant, activate the red switch, descend toward the blue platform, avoid the yellow switch to keep the red platform active, grab the yellow Present, and reactivate the yellow switch.

Secure the Mini-Mario Toy

Activate the yellow switch to reach the 1-Up Mushroom on the yellow platform. Dodge the Piranha Plant's flames by crouching as needed. Access the Mini-Mario by climbing the left rope and hopping onto its platform.
