The impressive initial performance led Tim Bender, CEO of Manor Lords' publisher, to address the fans. He expressed gratitude for their support and provided an unusual piece of advice by encouraging fans not to rush into purchasing the game. Bender clarified that the launch discount of 25% is not a one-time event. He stated, 'We will frequently offer these 25% discounts, ensuring everyone has ample chances to acquire the game without any fear of missing out.'

Bender also noted that early access may not suit all players, presenting another reason for fans to consider waiting before buying the game. Despite Manor Lords' temporary price slash to $39.99 until May 10, some players may opt to delay their purchase due to the game's current content depth. While the city builder is polished, its content may be perceived as limited, with players potentially experiencing most of the day-one features within ten hours.

For those seeking an alternative way to enjoy Manor Lords, Xbox Game Pass offers an option. Although the early access version is exclusive to PC, Microsoft's Game Pass subscribers can access it through PC Game Pass or the Ultimate tier, priced at $9.99 and $16.99 per month, respectively. The only drawback is that updates may lag slightly behind the Steam version, although the core game content remains consistent across platforms.

Greg Styczeń, the sole developer of Slavic Magic, aims to keep Manor Lords in early access for approximately a year, subject to potential adjustments based on player feedback. The focus remains on refining the game and incorporating player suggestions for future features and content updates.
