On social media, Madden NFL 24 has prognosticated that the reigning NFL champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, will clinch victory in Super Bowl 58. The simulation indicates that the Chiefs will retain the Lombardi Trophy by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in a tight match, with a projected final score of 30-28. In anticipation of the Super Bowl 57 in 2023, Madden NFL 23 had forecasted a 31-17 win for the Philadelphia Eagles over the Chiefs. Despite Madden NFL having a commendable track record in predicting Super Bowl results, the 2023 forecast turned out to be inaccurate, as the Chiefs overcame the Eagles in a closely contested battle, securing a 38-35 victory.
In the aftermath of Super Bowl 57, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes disclosed that one of the offensive plays used by the Chiefs drew inspiration from the Pokemon series, aiming to deceive the Eagles' defenders in short-yardage situations.
