The informant, known as Silknigth on Twitter, has emerged as a credible source since their social media debut in January 2024. Their track record includes accurate predictions, such as the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima, which they disclosed before the official announcement on March 6.

Naughty Dog's Future Game Might Surprise Fans

Silknigth recently took to Twitter to address speculations surrounding the sequel to Horizon Forbidden West. Contrary to hopes for a spring reveal, the leaker hinted that the third installment of Horizon is not yet ready for the spotlight, stating it will take longer to be unveiled. Additionally, the leaker mentioned that Naughty Dog's ongoing project is not The Last of Us 3 but an entirely original intellectual property.

Although The Last of Us 3 is in the early stages of development, Naughty Dog seems to be prioritizing the new IP project. This aligns with comments from Neil Druckmann, President of Naughty Dog, in the documentary Grounded 2, where he hinted at plans for The Last of Us Part 3.
