More than fifteen years after the release of the groundbreaking first-person shooter BioShock, Ghost Story Games, led by Ken Levine, the Creative Director behind System Shock 2, BioShock, and BioShock Infinite, has unveiled the official story trailer for Judas, a new IP that bears a striking resemblance to BioShock.

While BioShock 4 was confirmed to be in development in 2019, there has been little news about its progress. With over a decade since the release of the last BioShock game, BioShock Infinite, Judas may well serve as a temporary substitute for fans until BioShock 4 hits the shelves. In fact, the resemblance is so uncanny that Judas could easily be mistaken for BioShock 4.

The Striking Resemblance

Judas made its debut at the 2022 Game Awards with a brief trailer featuring its familiar art style and some cinematics, leaving viewers with a cryptic message:
