This guide will walk you through the process of joining the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout: New Vegas.

The Brotherhood of Steel faction distinguishes itself with advanced technology, particularly the coveted T-45d power armor. Joining this faction grants players a unique perk essential for utilizing power armor effectively.

How to Become a Member of the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout: New Vegas

Similar to other factions in Fallout: New Vegas, joining the Brotherhood of Steel involves completing specific faction quests, such as Still in the Dark, along with Tend to Your Business or Eyesight to the Blind. However, the initial step is locating the bunker housing this faction. While various methods exist, enlisting Veronica's assistance proves to be the simplest approach.

Locating the Brotherhood of Steel

Veronica can be found at 188 Trading Post in the Mojave Wasteland. Once she joins your party, you must discover the Hidden Valley bunker, situated in the eponymous location without any clear markings. Upon reaching the bunker's entrance, Veronica must provide the password for admittance.

Embarking on the Still in the Dark quest marks the initial stage of joining the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout: New Vegas. Progress through the quest objectives until you possess all three holotapes. At this juncture, a decision must be made whether to deliver them to Elder McNamara or Head Paladin Hardin.

If Elder McNamara is chosen, completing Still in the Dark precedes commencing the Eyesight to the Blind quest. This quest entails journeying to the radio station atop Black Mountain to install a remote signal transmitter, though the location is infested with super mutants under Tabitha's control.

Opting to collaborate with Head Paladin Hardin extends the current quest marginally but remains swifter than the Eyesight to the Blind quest. Adhere to the instructions until Head Paladin Hardin assumes the Elder position within the Brotherhood. Subsequently, undertaking the Tend to Your Business quest is necessary, involving the vanquishing of the Van Graffs. With adequate experience, overcoming this task facilitates entry into the faction.

Regardless of the chosen path, membership in the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout: New Vegas offers numerous benefits. Notably, access to the Power Armor Training perk, essential for donning Power Armor, and the acquisition of T-45d power armor.
