Halo Infinite is set to launch The Yappening 2 event this month, featuring a brand-new map, a complimentary Operation Pass packed with fresh rewards, and more. Fans of the Halo series can also anticipate the return of Gruntpocalypse in Halo Infinite, over a decade after its debut in Halo Reach.

Continuing its support for Halo Infinite in 2024, 343 Industries recently introduced the Easy Anti-Cheat system for the PC version and made significant network enhancements in March. The latest update also included experimental Competitive Skill Rank rewards and various game balance adjustments. The upcoming April 2024 update will kick off The Yappening 2, offering content for standard multiplayer modes and the popular Firefight mode in Halo Infinite.

Recently, 343 Industries unveiled all the upcoming content for The Yappening 2 event in Halo Infinite, scheduled from April 2 to April 30. Similar to past events, all players will receive a free Operation Pass with 20 reward tiers. Among the new rewards are the Glibnub Special and Abundant Growth armor coatings, the Load Bearing shoulder pad, and the Yapster and Gruntball weapon charms. Purchasing the Premium Pass for the event will instantly unlock the Glibnub's Golden Guns weapon coating. Moreover, the event will introduce fresh customization options for the Mark VII armor and unveil the new Corrosion arena map later this month.

Gruntpocalypse will be featured in Halo Infinite's Firefight PvE mode during The Yappening 2, presenting players with numerous Grunt foes to vanquish across different rounds.
