Halo Infinite introduces the Banished Honor update, a significant overhaul by developer 343 Industries that revolutionizes the gameplay experience. This monumental update injects fresh content, resolves numerous bugs, and integrates novel features into the Halo Infinite universe.

Launched in 2021, Halo Infinite represents a pivotal moment for Master Chief and serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed Halo 5: Guardians by 343 Industries. Continuous updates have kept Halo Infinite engaging and dynamic, with the latest update being one of the most substantial to date.

The Banished Honor update in Halo Infinite unveils a free 20-tier reward track inspired by the Banished faction. This operation spans five weeks, allowing players to progress at their own pace and earn enticing rewards. While the base pass is complimentary, players can opt for the premium version to access additional rewards once the operation concludes.

A standout feature of the update is the introduction of The Exchange, an in-game store familiar to fans of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Here, players can acquire items using Spartan Points earned through challenges, Daily Challenges, Ultimate Challenges, or by progressing through the Banished Honor operation pass. These Spartan Points can be spent in the Exchange shop to unlock a rotating selection of items.

The update also brings alterations to game modes, such as the replacement of Ranked Tactical with Ranked Snipers, and FFA Slayer with Rumble Pit. Additionally, Legendary King of the Hill is now part of the rotation. Ranked matches will now auto-terminate if they commence with uneven teams. Weapon tweaks include nerfs to the Gravity Hammer and Mk50 Sidekick, alongside buffs to weapons like the Plasma Pistol, which can now temporarily disable enemy vehicles with a charged shot, a feature beloved by fans.

Looking ahead, Halo Infinite teases two upcoming operations set to launch this summer. The highly anticipated Tenrai IV event, scheduled from June 4 to July 2, will reintroduce the beloved Tenrai theme with new Yoroi-themed rewards. Following this, Spartan Surplus debuts on July 2, offering a free pass with fresh rewards inspired by past Halo Infinite content.
