Uncovering the Locations of Monster Eggs in DQM: The Dark Prince
Once players complete all the quests in Terrestria, they will start encountering eggs in the overworld. These eggs are scattered across specific locations within the Lower, Middle, and Upper Echelon levels. Upon picking up an egg, players must engage in a minimum of 10 battles for it to respawn. At any given time, there will only be three eggs available on a map.
Some eggs only appear during particular seasons, which change continuously as players explore the overworld. However, players can manipulate the seasons using items such as Seasonings or the Seasonal Flute, especially when searching for eggs submerged in water during certain seasons.
Prime locations for egg sightings include caves or behind trees along the edges of the maps. To expedite egg farming, players should thoroughly explore the maps and consistently engage in battles with wild Monsters to trigger respawns. This will increase the likelihood of finding Monsters that can only be hatched. Moreover, there's a chance for hatchlings to possess rare Talents.
Acquiring Rare Eggs in DQM: The Dark Prince
As players progress through the game and clear specific areas of all quests, they will come across rare eggs. Initially, all eggs appear white in the overworld, but upon being picked up, they change color to indicate their rarity. Eggs can be Silver, Gold, or Rainbow, with Rainbow eggs being the rarest.
Gold and Rainbow eggs become visible after players complete the Middle Echelon level of the Cradle of Corruptions. While they are more prevalent in the Upper Echelon areas, they may also spawn on other maps. Rainbow eggs always contain a Rank A Monster, presenting a stroke of luck for players. There's even a possibility of a Large Monster hatching from an egg.
Players can continuously farm eggs as they respawn. If they are dissatisfied with the Monsters that hatch, they can exit the game and reload to reset the spawn.
