To locate the Jabberwock, players must first explore the area, scan all six Lifesprings, and receive a message from Chadley revealing the creature's whereabouts. Activating the Remnawave Towers will pinpoint the Lifesprings on the map, aiding in the search.

Upon receiving Chadley's message, venture to the southern part of Cosmo Canyon near the windy platform. Inside a large cave northwest of the platform lies the Jabberwock. Initiating the battle by summoning the monster allows players to prepare with the appropriate Materia before engaging.

Conquering the Jabberwock in FF7 Rebirth

The Jabberwock battle can be simplified due to its vulnerability to fire. Equip each party member with a Fire Materia and focus on using fire spells, especially when the creature is staggered, to maximize damage. Characters like Aerith and Cait Sith, proficient in magic, excel in this encounter.

Watch out for the Gorgon Shield ability, which strengthens the Jabberwock against physical attacks. However, magic spells can penetrate this defense, eventually breaking the shield.
