The entire range of Fallout games is currently being offered at discounted prices on various platforms such as Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation Store, among others. This special promotion is in recognition of the recent premiere of Amazon's Fallout television series.
The highly anticipated TV show made its debut as an exclusive on Prime Video on April 10. Leading up to the launch, both Amazon and Bethesda have been engaging in various promotions, including limited-time Fallout-themed meal deals and other giveaways.
Adding to the excitement is a significant sale covering all Fallout games, which kicked off in the second weekend of April 2024. As part of this promotion, every title in the series available on Steam and the Xbox Store is currently offered at a discount of 75%. The exception is Fallout 76, which is available at an 80% discount or $7.99. This deal extends to the PlayStation Store as well, along with a 75% discount on the base edition of Fallout 4.
Although not under Microsoft's ownership, Steam stands out as the primary platform benefiting from this sale. This is mainly due to its exclusive access to the entire franchise, excluding the 2004 console-exclusive Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. GOG, while not far behind in terms of available titles, only offers a 75% discount on the Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 4. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are also discounted on GOG, but at a slightly lower rate of 67% compared to Steam's 75%.

Prime members can now enjoy select Fallout titles without additional costs, with Fallout 76 and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel available for free with a Prime membership. Moreover, Amazon Luna users can play Fallout 3 and New Vegas at no extra charge until October 2024.
Even before the sale, the Fallout series had been gaining immense popularity following the successful launch of its TV adaptation. The latest entries in the series, in particular, have seen a surge in player interest, with tens of thousands returning to play them over the weekend on PC alone, based on data from Valve's Steam API.
