Fallout 76's Steel Reign update introduces a Legendary crafting system, allowing players to enhance normal items with Legendary attributes. How to Obtain Legendary Cores in Fallout 76
Legendary Cores can be acquired by participating in Daily Ops, Public Events, and Seasonal Events in Fallout 76. Among these, Public Events are the primary source of Legendary Cores, marked by exclamation points on the map. The quantity of cores rewarded is influenced by the event's difficulty and player performance, with some events granting up to eight cores.
Events like A Colossal Problem, Encryptid, Free Range, and Project Paradise offer a maximum of eight Legendary Cores. However, all Public Events provide at least one core upon successful completion. As each 3-star Legendary item requires five cores, players are encouraged to seize every opportunity to collect them.
