Xbox has officially announced the resolution of the issue that was preventing Fallout 4 players from obtaining achievements, just in time for the game's anticipated April 25 update. The Fallout TV series on Amazon has reignited interest in the franchise, resulting in increased gameplay for all Fallout titles.

Despite the overall rise in playtime, most fans are gravitating towards Fallout 76 and Fallout 4, the more accessible options for players. However, Xbox users revisiting Fallout 4 post the TV series' success were dismayed by the inability to unlock achievements.

The problem with Fallout 4 achievements on Xbox, which emerged in March, has been finally fixed a few days before the major April 25 update. Xbox took to Twitter to confirm the fix, expressing gratitude for fans' patience. The resolution came about approximately six days after Xbox acknowledged the issue.

Fallout 4 Xbox Achievements Functioning Properly Again

With the rectification of Fallout 4 Xbox achievements, players on this platform can resume earning accolades within the game. While some achievements are earned through natural progression, others pose more of a challenge. Surprisingly, many Xbox players haven't even acquired the simplest achievement, obtained by finishing the tutorial section.

Recent data revealed that a significant 37% of Fallout 4 players lack the basic achievement for entering the Wasteland, possibly due to brief stints on Xbox Game Pass without delving into the game. Now that the Xbox achievements are back on track, players missing out on this straightforward achievement can now unlock it.

Some players may opt to wait for the Fallout 4 update on April 25 before returning to the game. This update will introduce a native PS5/Xbox Series X version with enhanced features like 60 FPS support, enticing players with exciting upgrades.
