Players who are part of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers now have the opportunity to enjoy additional DLC content for free for a game that was added to the service as a day one release.

Teardown was recently added to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus, offering fans access to free additional DLC content. Subscribers to PS Plus Extra and Premium enjoy a vast library of PS5 and PS4 games at no extra cost, with Sony consistently introducing new titles each month.

Some games, such as Tchia, Sea of Stars, and Humanity, have been made available on PS Plus Extra as day one releases in 2023, while Stray was launched on the service in 2022. In November 2023, Teardown joined the lineup as a day one release, allowing fans to experience the game without any additional fees and now offering free DLC content.

Available on the PlayStation Store is the Lockelle Motor Park DLC, providing gamers with additional content for Teardown at no cost. Included in this add-on are the Lockelle Motor Park map and two additional vehicles for players to utilize. The Lockelle Motor Park DLC is accessible across all platforms, enabling PC and Xbox users to enjoy the content at no charge. However, it's important to note that while the DLC is currently available for free in NA and Europe, players in Asia will have to wait until December 26.

Furthermore, Mod Pack 1 for Teardown is also available for free, granting fans the ability to further personalize their gameplay. This initiative allows PS Plus Extra subscribers and anyone who purchases Teardown to receive additional content at no cost.

In November 2023, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers gained access to a variety of games, including Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dead Island: Riptide - Definitive Edition, and Superliminal. Premium subscribers had the additional benefit of trying out Grandia, PaRappa the Rapper 2, and Up, among others.

With the December lineup for PS Plus Extra and Premium now live, subscribers have access to even more games at no extra cost. Extra members can now experience Grand Theft Auto 5, Metal: Hellsinger, Mega Man 11, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Salt and Sacrifice, and more as part of their subscription. Premium members also have the opportunity to play Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Mega Man Legacy Collection, among other offerings.
