As you venture through the Upper City in pursuit of the mysteries of Mount Qaf, you'll encounter two vaults—one within the Day section and the other in the Night area. Despite initially appearing to have impenetrable gates, these rooms are believed to safeguard valuable treasures. This guide for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will demonstrate how to unlock these concealed chambers, allowing you to claim the rewards hidden within the chests.

Locating the Secret Rooms in Upper City

Two clandestine dungeons are nestled in the Upper City, one within the Day area and the other within the Night region. To discover them, you must explore the entrances to the east and west of the Citadel Elevator. Upon close examination, you'll find two vaults flanking the elevator area.

Accessing the Upper City Day Secret Room

In the open expanse of Upper City Day, marked by a feather on the map, leap onto the central platform. Here, you'll encounter a metal gate protecting a Xerxes coin. Overcome this obstacle with the Shadow of the Simurgh-induced Chakram. Hurl your Chakram beyond the gate and press LB (L1 on PlayStation) to teleport behind it.

After vanquishing Menolias, your Chakram gains a new ability: the power to create a teleportation marker. Harness this skill to navigate through the gates in the Upper City vicinity, including the one shielding the secret room.

Accessing the Upper City Night Secret Room

In the Night segment of Upper City, a concealed chamber is situated to the east of the Citadel Elevator. To gain entry, employ the Dimensional Claw Athra Surge. With this capability, seize the glistening puzzle piece from the tower's peak and hurl it into the empty slot just above the gate.

The Dimensional Claw Time Power is obtained by defeating the Queen of the Forest, Kiana. This power allows you to grip items, such as puzzle pieces, and propel them as projectiles, similar to throwing your Chakram.
