Stardew Valley invites players to embark on a farming adventure, where they inherit a neglected farm and transition to rural life in Pelican Town. Beyond the surface, this cozy town holds numerous surprises and mysteries for the curious explorer.

In addition to the concealed Secret Notes scattered across the valley, Pelican Town in Stardew Valley boasts hidden paths that lead to uncharted territories. These four secretive routes provide access to new places brimming with hidden wonders. Keep reading to uncover the whereabouts of these clandestine areas and the treasures that lie within.

Discovery Behind the Eastern Fence

The Alleyway Buffet represents one of the 19 Power Books concealed in Stardew Valley. Completionists aiming for a perfect score must locate all Power Books and special items in the game. To discover this elusive book, you must venture to the eastern outskirts of Pelican Town. An obscured entrance in the eastern fence near the Blacksmith's Shop and above the Minecart track beckons. Traverse this hidden path by passing under the tree canopy alongside the fence.

Armed with a Steel-grade or superior Axe and Pickaxe, eliminate the obstructing large stumps, logs, and boulders along the route. Upon clearing the passage and reaching the end, a golden trash can hidden behind a tree in the clearing awaits. Within this receptacle lies the Alleyway Buffet book, waiting to be claimed.

Concealed Ticket Above the Bookseller

Prize Tickets obtained in Stardew Valley can be exchanged for exciting rewards at a prize machine within Mayor Lewis' residence. While these tickets are typically earned through quests, special orders, or festival wins, a covert ticket lurks in Pelican Town.

To unearth this hidden Prize Ticket, head north from the Blacksmith's Shop to the vicinity above JojaMart, where the Bookseller operates. A sizable stump obstructing access to a fenced area near a tree stands out. Employ a Copper Axe or better to clear this obstacle and gain entry to the concealed area. Inside, cut through the Fiber nodes until you reach behind the tree, where a blue gift box awaits. Open the box to claim your complimentary Prize Ticket.

Navigating the Spirit's Eve Maze

Spirit's Eve in Stardew Valley provides a unique Halloween experience, occurring annually on Fall 27. Central to the festival is a haunted maze offering a chance to discover a rare Golden Pumpkin (in odd years) or a Prize Ticket (in even years).

To conquer the eerie maze, proceed left until you encounter a signpost marked with a red question mark (?). While it may appear to be a dead end, positioning yourself in front of the sign and moving through the left hedges reveals a concealed path leading to a treasure trove.

The maze layout alters yearly, necessitating different actions based on the festival year.

Odd Years

After navigating the hedges, you'll emerge in a hidden passage leading to a cave. With no visibility inside the cave, proceed rightwards blindly until you exit. Equipping a Glow Ring for illumination can aid in your navigation. Upon exiting, a treasure chest housing the Golden Pumpkin awaits.

Even Years

During even years, the Haunted Maze gains complexity. A concealed passage to the left of the initial “?” signpost leads to an unmarked secret passage at the maze's top right.

This pathway leads to a hidden area featuring a house with chicken legs. Behind this peculiar house's hedges lie three additional secret passages. Opting for the middle route guides you to the treasure segment of the maze, where a Prize Ticket rests inside a chest. Following the prize collection, utilize the nearby Minecart to return to the maze entrance beside Pierre's stall.

The Enigmatic Bus Tunnel

The Bus Stop, situated on the Valley's outskirts, serves as the initial arrival point for players. While not officially part of Pelican Town, the Bus Stop conceals a hidden passageway that defies conventional expectations.

Proceeding past the Bus Stop and veering left along the road unveils the entrance to the Bus Tunnel. Inside this tunnel lies an electrical panel necessitating a Battery Pack. Inserting the pack initiates a series of quests titled “The Mysterious Qi.” Within this covert compartment, a note signed by Mr. Qi awaits discovery.
