From there, select 'Start Shared Dive' to create a new session open for others to join. Each Shared Dive session lasts for one hour, and you can have up to 10 random players join your dive, with an option to invite up to 30 friends.

During your Shared Dive, you can engage in various tasks to earn experience and currency, including:

• Scanning new creatures in the vicinity
• Exploring the region alongside other players, unlocking new locations together
• Collecting salvaged items
• Spotting UMLs (Unique Marine Life) by visiting marked locations on the map with an orange circle. Upon arrival, a flashing orange circle on your screen indicates proximity to the Unique Marine Life.
