Engaging in Endless Ocean Luminous online can greatly enhance your gaming experience by enabling you to explore new creatures, embark on shared dives with fellow players, and hunt for rare items and fish together. However, the process of participating in Shared Dives may seem unclear to many players. This guide aims to demystify the experience and help you make the most of your underwater adventures with others.

For those eager to plunge into shared diving, this comprehensive guide will walk you through the entire process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience with your diving companions. Here's all you need to know to dive in and have a blast with your fellow ocean explorers.

Initiating a Shared Dive in Endless Ocean Luminous

To kick off your own Shared Dive adventure in Endless Ocean Luminous, where you can collaborate with others to scan creatures and uncover salvaged treasures, launch the game and navigate to the Shared Dives section. From there, select 'Start Shared Dive' to create a new session open for others to join. Each Shared Dive session lasts for one hour, and you can have up to 10 random players join your dive, with an option to invite up to 30 friends.

During your Shared Dive, you can engage in various tasks to earn experience and currency, including:

  • Scanning new creatures in the vicinity
  • Exploring the region alongside other players, unlocking new locations together
  • Collecting salvaged items
  • Spotting UMLs (Unique Marine Life) by visiting marked locations on the map with an orange circle. Upon arrival, a flashing orange circle on your screen indicates proximity to the Unique Marine Life.

In Shared Dives, you can also tag fish and salvage items to guide your fellow divers to their locations, facilitating progress through the game. Additionally, you can use the map to teleport to another player's location, making it easier to cooperate in the search for Unique Marine Life and biometric signs. Typically, you'll have to locate seven targets, with Sera, your guide, providing hints on their possible whereabouts.

Joining a Shared Dive in Endless Ocean Luminous

Alternatively, instead of hosting your own Shared Dive, you can opt to join another player's session. Simply navigate to the Shared Dive menu and select 'Join Shared Dive' at the bottom. To do this, you'll require a Shared Dive ID, which you can obtain from friends hosting the dive you wish to join.

Joining someone else's Shared Dive presents an excellent opportunity to play with friends, progress through the game's storyline together, and tackle the same tasks offered to hosts. Together, you'll continue to explore, scan creatures, and unearth the mysteries of the ocean depths.
