Valuable materials for crafting and weapons can be obtained from low-level Points of Interest (POIs) located near the initial area.

8 Small Shrouded Area

This cluster of Shrouded ruins lies in close proximity to the designated base construction site highlighted in the introductory quest. It features a couple of feeble enemies and some patrolling wolves, easily manageable even with basic equipment.

In the central area, a descending staircase leads to an underground section. To explore this area, players must equip a torch or another light source. Barrels and boxes can be smashed to collect materials, with a solitary chest tucked in a corner.

7 Longkeep

Just West Of The Base Location

• Enemies: 5 to 5 low-level Shroud enemies, possibly encountering wolves along the way
• Notable loot locations: Several chests hidden within the ruins

Longkeep, a sizable low-level POI, stands in close proximity to the new player base site in Enshrouded, just westward. Ideal for gathering resources and loot after breaking open boxes and barrels, the area also houses a lore book waiting to be uncovered.

Segments of Longkeep within the Shroud typically harbor the best loot. When venturing into these Shrouded zones, players should remain vigilant for lucrative chests and other valuable loot, with only a few low-level enemies patrolling this extensive POI.

6 Wolf Cave

South Of New Base Location

• Enemies: 3 wolves
• Notable loot locations: Lootable bookcase

This compact cave, guarded by three wolves, offers a simple source of bones and meat for cooking buffs. Additionally, it provides a safe space for practicing bow skills, thanks to the expansive open area in front of the cave.

The cave interior contains numerous boxes and barrels ripe for destruction, yielding valuable materials. A lootable bookcase further enhances the appeal of this low-level POI, offering new players a consistent source of basic crafting and building materials.
