Super Mario Bros. and LEGO are joining forces once more to introduce eight new collaborative sets based on the popular Nintendo franchise, set to hit the shelves on August 1. This partnership between Nintendo and LEGO has resulted in various creations, bringing the Super Mario Bros. universe into the realm of LEGO since their initial collaboration in 2020. The range includes playsets and figurines inspired by well-known Super Mario levels and characters.
Recently, LEGO unveiled the LEGO Super Mario Kart set on MAR10 Day, offering a glimpse of sets set for a 2024 launch, like the one featuring Bowser's Train from Super Mario 3D World and a showdown with Roy the Koopaling at Peach's Castle. While the release date was unspecified at that time, LEGO has now confirmed the release date for these sets, along with several others scheduled for the same day.
The forthcoming eight sets comprise Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario, Adventures with Interactive LEGO Luigi, Adventures with Interactive LEGO Peach, Soda Jungle Maker Set, Goombas' Playground, The Bowser Express Train, King Boo's Haunted Mansion, and Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle. All these LEGO sets themed around Super Mario will be available starting August 1. Some of these sets include interactive Mario character LEGO figures that feature voice lines for Mario, Luigi, and Peach, akin to the starter course sets but in a more compact size.

Beyond the Super Mario Bros. themed sets, LEGO's collaboration with Nintendo extends to Animal Crossing-themed sets slated for release later in August. These sets bring to life popular Animal Crossing settings and characters, such as a concert featuring K.K. Slider at the Town Hall or Dodo Airlines experiences. With the Super Mario Kart LEGO set set to debut in 2025, these eight sets offer a delightful interim for fans.
