Step into Gameloft’s enchanting Disney Dreamlight Valley where beloved Disney characters reside. The recent update introduced the Spark of Imagination DLC, enriching the game with fresh content and characters.

Among the new faces is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, offering quests to players. To befriend Oswald, you must first unlock him by tackling a series of missions. The inaugural quest on this journey is the Sunken Ruins, and here's your guide to conquering it.

Initiating the Sunken Ruins Quest

To gain access to Oswald, you must first complete the Sunken Ruins quest. Here are the prerequisites to commence this adventure:

  • Fulfill the Your Eternal Reward quest received from Jafar. This quest necessitates completing Wanderer of Dunes and The Tower quests.
  • Accomplish the initial friendship quests for all A Rift in Time characters, including A New Directive (EVE), Center of Attention (Gaston), and The Housewarming (Rapunzel).
  • Unlock the Overlook and the Grove regions of Eternity Isle by spending 6,000 and 4,000 Mist, respectively.

Navigating the Sunken Ruins Quest

Consult Merlin

Begin by conversing with Merlin in his library. The sagacious wizard will enlighten you about the Spark of Imagination, a potent tool in Dreamlight Valley. With Merlin's guidance, embark on a quest to locate it before Jafar seizes it.

Locate Flickers

The Spark of Imagination lies within an Ancient Temple submerged underwater with its entrance damaged. To retrieve the spark, Dreamers must find 11 Flickers scattered across the valley using the Royal Hourglass tool.

Each realm, including Moana, Ratatouille, and WALL-E, houses one Flicker, amounting to three in total. The Plaza in Dreamlight Valley contains four, while the remaining quartet is situated in The Docks region on Eternity Isle.

Capture Chamber Images in Ancient Ruins

After securing all Flickers, follow Merlin to the Ancient Ruins, construct a bridge, and converse with him. Merlin will task you with exploring chambers and photographing specific enigmatic elements in each chamber.
