Destiny 2 Continues to Lack Facial Hair Customization Options Despite Community Appeals

In a post on DestinyFashion, SnooChocolates3167 referenced a 2020 plea by user KoalaTeaGuy on the official Destiny 2 subreddit, which featured a screenshot from a crucial moment in Destiny 2: Forsaken. The scene depicted the player's character facing Awoken Prince Uldren Sov, a key figure in the Forsaken storyline, preparing to avenge the death of Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6. In this scene, the character's helmet was removed, and KoalaTeaGuy edited the image to include a beard on the character's face, emphasizing the potential impact of this feature.

The DestinyFashion community echoed SnooChocolates3167's sentiments, with some expressing disappointment over the absence of facial hair choices and limited head customizations in general. While some acknowledged that most Destiny 2 players tend to keep their helmets on, diminishing the relevance of facial customization, others remained optimistic, suggesting that future updates might expand customization options, especially considering that Into the Light enabled players to modify their appearance and character names.
