The weapon boasts impressive perk combinations that make it proficient in both Boss damage and crowd control. Its standout Origin Trait enables it to generate Grenade and Melee energy upon kills, depending on the chosen subclass.

Perfect Crowd Control Configuration

To optimize for crowd control, prioritize barrels and perks that enhance the weapon's area-of-effect damage capabilities. Opt for barrel and magazine options that boost the Blast Radius stat, such as Confined Launch, Volatile Launch, and High-Explosive Ordinance.

In the perk selection, Chain Reaction in the left column reigns supreme for causing extensive area of effect damage, triggering elemental damage explosions with final blows. Complement this with Destabilizing Rounds in the right column to amplify area of effect damage and align with the Void kit, forming a potent crowd control roll for Edge Transit.

Optimal DPS Setup

Edge Transit boasts incredible DPS potential, focusing on perks that boost both damage output and magazine size. Lower the Blast Radius to enhance single-target damage.

Select Hard Launch as the optimal barrel option for Edge Transit, significantly increasing projectile Velocity while reducing Blast Radius. For the Magazine, prioritize Spike Grenades for heightened damage on direct hits.

In the perks, Envious Assassin in the left column shines by tripling the magazine size, allowing continuous firing on a boss without reloading, making Edge Transit a top-tier DPS weapon. On the right, seek out damage-enhancing perks like Bait and Switch, providing a substantial 30 percent damage boost after damaging with any weapon.
