Cult Of The Lamb: Discover Seeds And Their Locations

Highlights

  • Discover new seeds and their locations for planting in Cult of the Lamb.
  • Explore the significance of each seed in food creation and cult development.
  • Understand the importance of securing various seeds for a thriving cult compound.

Each close-knit community of like-minded individuals requires a farming plot, and the Cult of the Lamb is no different. The humble Farming Plot stands as one of the initial structures that the Lamb can construct in their headquarters, yet it remains futile without the necessary seeds for planting. Structures such as Scarecrows aid in protecting the newly planted crops from hungry birds, while seed Silos and Farmer Stations encourage followers to engage in planting and harvesting.

By the time the friendly NPC Ratau offers the main character suitable space for their new temple and cult dwellings, they will already possess a few seeds. All plants demand the same level of care and watering without the need to be placed in specific areas or harvested at different times. It is advisable to plant and cultivate them as much as possible for cooking, construction, and other spiritual pursuits.

Updated January 28, 2024, by Kristy Ambrose: Since the initial release of Cult of the Lamb, numerous minor bug fixes, DLCs, and additional content have been introduced, including the new Sins of the Flesh update. The expanded range of buildings, Rites, Doctrines, and crafting options also brings forth more seeds for the farm. With the array of new choices available, one can establish a vineyard or a field of hops adjacent to the new Drinkhouse, Drum Circle, and Mating Tent. Furthermore, the Tailor requires materials that can be grown on the Farm, and the article has been updated to encompass these new Seeds.

9 Grapes

Necessary for Winemaking and as a Food Source

A delectable new fruit, sweet and delicious Grapes, is now available in Cult of the Lamb as part of the Sins of The Flesh update. They can be harvested in upgraded versions of the dungeons, typically within the mapped section. Look for the icon resembling a bunch of hanging grapes.

After completing Anura once, players can commence enhancing their cult compound with new seeds before embarking on the journey to confront the new versions of the old bosses. Rakshasa can be found at the bottom left of the screen, and the Lamb can directly purchase grape seeds from him. A few Grapes are required to construct the Drinkhouse, and they serve as the primary ingredient in crafting Grape Nectar, Juniper Drink, and Fruit Elixir, three cocktails available at the bar.

8 Camellia Seed

Essential for the Healing Bay

Harvest both blossoms and seeds from mature Camellia plants to adorn the cult compound with decorative elements and flower beds. Moreover, these seeds play a vital role in the Healing Bay, where a specific number of Camellia blossoms are required to cure an ailing cultist. In addition to its medicinal properties, Camellia is a key ingredient for the Fruit Elixir.

7 Berry Bush Seed

An Essential Staple Food

At the outset of their journey, the Lamb will encounter the Berry Bush Seed. It stands as one of the first plants that can be harvested or removed during the initial "tutorial" run. The icon for the Berry Bush Seed resembles a robust seed with a sprouting shoot and is robust and abundant, making it an ideal starter seed.

The Basic Berry Bowl only requires the fruit of the Berry Bush, providing sustenance to Followers without significant effort or cost. It carries a much lower risk of causing illness compared to other meals at this level and can also be utilized to create the Juniper Drink at the Drinkhouse.

6 Cauliflower Seed

Utilized in Crafting Several Advanced Dishes

The Cauliflower seed is commonly found following the Lamb's triumph over Seket, the ruler of Anura. Look for the Food icon while Crusading to uncover a crop of these robust vegetables and valuable seeds. Additionally, the Seed Vendor outside Anchordeep stocks them.

Cauliflower seeds resemble miniature versions of their mature counterparts and serve as the primary ingredient in certain high-level dishes that promote the well-being of Cultists. One example is Cheery Cauliflower Chowder, which boasts a 25% chance of causing the consuming follower to drop resources instead of excrement, with a mere 5% chance of causing illness.

5 Cotton Seeds

A New Component for the Tailor

While not as vital as food, Cotton remains an important crop for the Tailor, one of the new buildings. As the Lamb embarks on Crusades, they will encounter new blueprints for clothing, which can be unlocked or obtained in various ways.

Cotton seeds can be acquired from the vendor outside Anchordeep or collected during the Crusades. The seeds resemble smaller versions of full-grown plants, devoid of stems. Follow these icons or seek out smaller versions bearing multiple mixed veggie symbols.

4 Pumpkin Seed

An Integral Component of a Balanced, Plant-Based Diet

Pumpkin seeds start appearing in Anura and are also available for purchase from the Seed Vendor. The Pumpkin Seed icon resembles a small pumpkin and closely resembles the actual vegetable.

The Splendid Vegetable Feast, one of the high-quality dishes the Lamb can prepare for their flock, incorporates pumpkin as one of the key ingredients. It is also the sole vegetable required to craft Paltry Pumpkin Soup, a basic dish with only a 5% chance of causing illness in the consuming follower.

3 Beetroot Seed

A High-Level Vegetable for Advanced Dishes

The Lamb may encounter Beetroot upon reaching Anchordeep or Silk Cradle in the game, and it is also available from vendors. The seed icon for this turnip-like vegetable resembles two smaller versions of beetroots with black dots. The mature plants bear distinct features and develop oversized leaves when ready for harvesting.

Similar to real life, beetroot plants serve as low-maintenance food with significant health benefits. They are the primary ingredient in the Magnificent Mixed Meal, a high-level recipe with a 100% chance of enhancing Loyalty and preventing cultists from sowing dissent.

2 Hops Seeds

Essential for Gathering Sin

Hops, an herb rather than a vegetable, cannot be used for cooking, yet it is crucial for constructing the Drinkhouse, alongside grapes and wooden planks. It is also a key component in the creation of several new beverages.

The Bog Brew, a simple drink that only necessitates hops for its preparation, might be the first beverage to grace the new Drinkhouse. Hops also feature in other concoctions such as the Fruit Elixir and Poop Juice.

1 Menticide Mushroom Spore

Necessary for Rituals and Infrastructure

As the Lamb ventures into the decaying forests of Anura, they will begin to collect Menticide Mushroom Spores, which are abundant in this region. Players will also uncover Spore Grotto and its leader, Sozo, where the mushrooms and their spores can be procured or exchanged for valuable items.

The mushroom spore icon resembles several smaller versions of fully grown Menticide Mushrooms. These spores are not only obtained from the mushrooms during Crusades but also from the Mushroomos, the followers of Sozo, should players opt to engage them. Unlike other seeds utilized in cooking, mushrooms are employed in crafting decorative structures and performing special rituals. The Brainwashing Ritual, a gift from Sozo after the Lamb presents an offering of 20 mushrooms, can be gathered or cultivated in generous quantities within the compound's seed plot.
