A recent substantial update was rolled out for the Nintendo Switch version of Batman: Arkham Knight. However, gamers have voiced ongoing concerns about the game's performance. Similar to its initial Windows launch, the Switch adaptation of Rocksteady Studios' popular action-adventure title continues to grapple with various technical flaws.

Part of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy package released last December, the Switch rendition of Batman: Arkham Knight has been widely criticized by players for its subpar performance and game-breaking glitches. While Turn Me Up Games, known for its successful Switch conversions in the past, has attempted to resolve issues with the game through updates, the most recent patch seems to have fallen short in addressing some of the most critical issues.

Although the details of the latest 1.0.3 update for Batman: Arkham Knight on the Switch have not been officially disclosed, feedback on Reddit suggests that the game still suffers from poor performance, stutters, and frame rate drops even after applying the sizable 16 GB patch. Some users have acknowledged that the updated version of Batman: Arkham Knight on the Switch has slightly enhanced the game's visuals. Given the dated hardware of the system, issues with the Switch-exclusive Batman: Arkham Trilogy were somewhat anticipated.

Aside from performance instability, players have reported persistent freezes and crashes in various segments of the game. Consequently, certain achievements tied to the main antagonist, The Riddler, have become unattainable, as highlighted by players online. In a similar vein to Batman: Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat 1, another title from Warner Bros. Games, encountered technical challenges in its Switch release. Despite these issues, reviewers recognized Mortal Kombat 1 as a commendable fighting game on the platform. Conversely, many players of Batman: Arkham Knight on the Switch have resigned to the belief that the port may never function seamlessly due to its persistent bugs.
